The Critical Thinking 2 and 3 course in the Master’s program in Architecture and Urbanism at the Tilburg Academy of Architecture and Urbanism challenge second- and third-year students to reimagine architecture as a dynamic, culturally and technologically influenced discipline. By aligning with Design Studio theme – in this case, the Design Studio “Society”, the course bridge critical thinking and design practice, encouraging collaboration and peer learning. Students engage with literature, sociospatial philosophies, and transformative themes, refining their design philosophies and equipping themselves to navigate the complexities of spatial development in diverse contexts.
